Rights of Service Users
The service respects the rights of clients to:
Be treated with respect, dignity, and courtesy at all times and in all situations.
Receive a service that is free from racism and discrimination.
Receive high-quality services.
Be assured of the confidentiality of the service within ethical and legal boundaries.
Receive the service of an interpreter when appropriate notice is provided.
Be provided with the qualification and professional status of the therapist.
Be involved in and be responsible for their decision-making and receive encouragement from the therapist to do this.
Have access to current, accurate and concise information.
Lodge a complaint about any concerns or grievances in relation to services received and to have their complaint dealt with fairly, promptly, and confidentially.
